Mike Edwards Motorsports Custom Built T&E 56' Pro Stock Semi Trailer...
T&E Auto Haulers recently built a new 56' All Aluminum Pro Stock Trailer for Mike and Lisa Edwards who race in the NHRA Pro Stock class. Mike and Lisa knew exactly what they wanted in a trailer and T&E worked together with them from start to finish to build a highly personalized trailer that truly reflects their teams professionalism.
Mike and Lisa's 56' T&E All Aluminum Pro Stock trailer features a heavy duty suspension system utilizing Watson Chalin axles running polished Alcoa wheels. The suspension system features air ride with an ABS braking system. At the rear of the trailer, the custom built T&E hydraulic powered lift gate allows them to store their cars in the 42' attic level of the trailer along with race equipment and other items. The trailer also features a polished stainless sheeted front box unit that holds a large Powertech 35kw generator unit, air compressor and a/c unit. The pit side of the trailer has a row of power solenoid actuated quartz lights with flush doors that provide for excellent lighting during late evening race sessions. A full water package system handles fresh and waste water throughout the trailer and features a portable sink for the pit side front of the trailer.
The 56" double main entry and 30" rear manway doors of the trailer allow easy access to the interior work area of the trailer, which has lots of custom built cabinetry covered in special Black Faux Marble laminate. There are cabinets to hold all the teams race parts and accessories and the full stainless steel covered work bench provides plenty of room for between round parts work. A special tambour door equipped computer cabinet allows for race data tracking and calculations. The trailer is also equipped with a heavy duty overhead interior engine changing beam which allows for easy movement of spare transmissions, engine assemblies and other heavy items in and out through the main double side entry doors. There are 3 Lista cabinets located on the curb side of the trailer and they provide storage for tools and other smaller parts. The entire interior of the trailer also features excellent lighting which is located both on the ceiling as well as under cabinet lighting over the work bench.
The lounge area of the trailer features marble granite tile flooring along with custom built cabinetry with Corian countertops. The laminate for the lounge area cabinets was hand picked by Lisa Edwards. For entertainment there is an entertainment center which holds an Satellite dish driven LCD TV, DVD Player and Stereo system. There are also appliances such as a refrigerator and microwave located in the lounge to allow for food prep and refreshments. The custom Flexsteel L-shaped sofa unit with lower drawer units provides maximum comfort for Mike and Lisa as well as for any guests who might stop by for a visit. The lounge is also equipped with a bathroom area featuring a toilet, vanity w/sink and medicine cabinet.
